Epic Lake Effect Snow Storm December 19, 2022 | West Leyden, NY

Epic Lake Effect Stow Storm 12/18-12/19-/2022 probably our largest 24 hour event since buying the property. We have had larger multi-day events but this was one to remember. West Leyden, NY is seated at the southern-most part of Lewis County on the great Tug Hill known for our snowfall and that’s about it. We did have a similar lake effect snow storm 7 years ago but not quite this much. That time we tried to ride vintage snowmobiles and got them all stuck. #mudlakeeffect
